"Everybody works for somebody. I work for everybody in these United States that steps into a butcher shop for a T-Bone steak"
~ G.W. McLintock
Located in 60 miles west of the Missouri River in South Dakota, the Anderson Ranch is located in the heart of cattle country. While raising quality cattle to produce premium beef is a priority for us, even more important is creating a home for the 4th generation on the ranch. This life we love, though challenging at times, helps to instill the values of hard work, respect for Mother Nature, stewardship for God's creations and the importance of honesty and trustworthiness. Our ranch is more than just a ranch to us, it is a place to honor the generations before us and to prepare for the next generations to come.
God truly created the area of the ranch for cattle. The hardy native grasses provide nutrients to grazing cattle while providing soil for production of winter forage such as millet, oats, and alfalfa. The ranch is home to Red Earth and Meadow Creeks that help to provide natural protection for animals and an abundance of wildlife.
